The system will allow Tailor-Made Alerts fitted to the equipment and programmed into system. The are available in three formats- Count Alert - to count the number of times an action or function has taken place. Period Alert - the time that an action or function has taken place Event Alerts - to send an alert to prevent equipment failure or compromising safety
Count Alert This facility is for counting the number times an action or function has taken place such as - Hydraulic operation only, Driving operation only, Safety equipment operation or any Specific function that needs to be counted. Period Alert This facility measures the amount of time an action or function has taken place such as- How long the hydraulics were operated, How long the vehicle was driven, Battery charging times, How long the safety equipment was activated or any specific function that need to be timed. Event Alert This facility is to alert for immediate equipment failure, crash detection or safety equipment failure. The system will record the Crash, then it will transmit the data on the equipment, date, time, operator and location. The system will record engine oil pressure/temperature, Transmission pressure/temperature , cooling system pressure/ temeprature and battery over discharge. All of the information is transmitted to Fleet Manager
The alerts will be monitored 24 hrs per day,7 days a week, 365 days a year they could be sent to a Fleet Manager, a service department or an individual engineer by e mail or text message to a mobile phone, or Interfaced with Fleet Managenet software packages. Asset Management Benefits
The Alerts can be tailored to measure anything specific on any form of equipment or a particular site where failures are occuring. The information can then be used to re-design the equipment, look at the operating practice or identify an operator training need.
